At the recent meeting of the Adventist Laymen’s Services and Industries (ASI) Inter-American Division Board of Directors, held January 29–30, 2024, at the El Panama Hotel in Panama City, two distinguished women were elected to key leadership positions within the organization.

Ms. Danielle Arteaga Guillen was appointed Public Relations Officer for the Spanish-speaking territories of the Inter-American Division. In this role, she will lead communication initiatives and strengthen engagement across Spanish-speaking ASI communities.

Mrs. Sherree Riley was elected as Associate Treasurer for ASI Inter-America. With a strong background in finance and administration, she will assist in overseeing the financial operations of the organization across the region.

The appointments mark a continued commitment by ASI-IAD to promote diversity, inclusivity, and strong leadership within its governing body. Both women bring a wealth of experience and a deep passion for mission-driven service to their new roles.

Their elections were met with warm support from board members and stakeholders across the division as ASI continues to expand its influence and impact in empowering laypersons to advance the mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
